Mangalkari Asset Investment AIF
01
We are a privately pooled investment vehicle that targets investments in stressed companies for their revival and unlocking the potential of their underlying real estate and other assets.
Government Initiatives

The Indian Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code, 2016 provides legal structure, well-defined processes, responsibilities and timelines for the resolution of distressed assets, greatly boosting the same.
Simultaneously, the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has put a special impetus to resolve non-performing assets and banks and other Financial Institutions are willing to sell such stressed accounts with a significant haircut in lieu of upfront payments to avoid prolonged litigation.
02
Where we come in
The fund’s objective is to invest in entities in distress which would either generate returns through sale of assets or through continuing its operations, ensuring continuity and creation of employment.
03
Investment Strategy
The Core Investment Committee after conducting proper legal due diligence as well as independent valuations of underlying assets takes a call on investment decisions ensuring adequate security coverage. Litigation resolution strategy as well as monetisation strategy is well thought of and accordingly negotiations are carried out and bids for assets are placed. An expert team is engaged post acquisition to engage in account resolution/revival of companies.
